Have had a website for almost 3 years and had taken to editing it myself in wordpress because I was fed up waiting forever on IT guys twiddling their thumbs while prioritising other customers and taking an age to do any work on my site. My site was as slow as a snail, and it always bugged me how slow it was and how it must be putting a lot of people off viewing much of the site content (even though I was still getting quite a lot of leads from it).
Another marketing expert that I follow had posted a link to Funnel Bank's article on 'How To Build Awesome Websites Without Coding'. I looked into it and stalled a little, and looked at video reviews etc, and because my current website had so many plug ins and I didn't know which I could uninstall etc, I just took the plunge and wiped my entire site. This was uncomfortable, as I lost all of the past emails that I had and also had no website up and running and knew that leads would dry up. But I told myself it would be worth it in the long run and that I'd have a much better website, and have the control over how to quickly edit it myself.
It's taken a lot of work (even though the software is excellent and actually very quick to use) and some late nights and nervousness, but it's finally getting there. Got my first leads through the site and it's much faster than before, much better than before, and I'm learning all the time how to further improve it, and my marketing funnel. It was uncomfortable, but it will definitely all be worth it and I would recommend that if you're unhappy with your own website at the moment, that you follow Funnel Banks advice & Training
